This is the final part of my trip to Dryandra during the July winter holidays. In this video i show one of the many walks in the Dryandra forest and the camp clean and pack up, which most people don't show in their videos.
But, at the end, I have included some bonus video of the school trip i went on a few weeks later for the "Bush Rangers" year 10 camp. We stayed at the Lyon's village dorms (they also have huts for rent). It was freezing and raining and no WIFI (hurrah!), so we played board games and sat around the campfire roasting marsh mellows. However, one of the activities was to go out with the rangers from the department of conservation, biodiversity, recreation and parks or whatever (Parks and Wildlife) and set traps which we checked the next day. We then processed them and released them. The bonus video is of the release of a possum and some Woylies (Brush Tailed Bettong- like a miniature Kangaroo).
Enjoy!
